This railroad leading to Mae Klong station passes through a local fresh market where vendors would flipped the vinyl and rolled back the stand to make way for the approaching train thus earning the name "Ta Lad Hoop Rom" or "Closing Umbrella Market".Mae Klong community is situated on the bank of Mae Klong river, 1 hour drive to the west of Bangkok.

Fire erupted on Fico building on Asoke road leaving traffic paralyzed around Sukhumvit, Nana, Rachadapisek and Petchburi raods. The fire started on 7th and spread throughout the entire building.
